This blog is a collective effort by the 2008 Student Committee of the Art Purchasing Program @ UMD to share with one another their ideas and thoughts about galleries, artists, art work--basically anything relating to the program that they would like to contribute =)
The mission of the Art Purchasing Program is to:
¤ To educate and inspire by exposing the campus community to challenging art created by noted contemporary artists
¤ To provide the committee members with the opportunity to interact with the art world by researching, discussing, and purchasing the best work by emerging and established contemporary artists.
